Ice is an ingredient.
Ordinary ice does one job badly. It chills your drink on the way in and waters it down on the way out.
Ours does two jobs well. Chilli and lime start releasing the moment the cube hits the glass, so the drink chills and builds flavour at the same time. Three sips in, it isn’t quite the drink you poured.

This page explains what personal information Nice Cubes collects on drinknicecubes.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We have kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Nice Cubes (“we”, “us”) makes flavoured ice cubes and runs this website. If you have any questions about your information, message us on Instagram at @drinknicecubes.
What we collect and why
- Waitlist and newsletter signups: your first name, last name (waitlist only) and email address. We use them to send you news about early access, launches and offers, including the founding batch discount. We do this with your consent.
- Membership applications: your name, email address, favourite flavour, and, if you choose to answer, your usual drink order, a bar recommendation, why you think you should be a member, your Instagram handle, and an invite code. We also ask you to confirm you are 18 or over, since our events involve alcohol. Applications are reviewed by the founders to decide who joins. We use your details to run the Nice Cubes community, such as member events and tastings, to get in touch about your application, and to help us decide what to make next. We do this with your consent.
- Visiting the site: like any website, the company that hosts it (GitHub) receives your IP address and basic technical details when your browser loads a page. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
You never have to give us any of this. If you don’t, you can still browse the whole site.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t store anything on your device. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to see how many people visit the site, which pages they look at, and roughly where they came from (for example, Instagram or a search engine). It works without cookies, doesn’t collect your name, email or IP address, and can’t identify you individually or track you across other websites. This is why the site doesn’t need a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We use trusted services to run the site, and we don’t sell your information.
- Klaviyo: an email marketing service that stores your signup details and sends our emails. It may process information outside the UK, using the safeguards the law requires.
- Umami: a privacy-focused analytics service, hosted in the EU, that helps us understand how the site is used. It does not collect personal data.
- GitHub: hosts this website.
Our site links to other websites, such as Ticket Tailor for event tickets and Instagram. They have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you stay subscribed or are part of the community, or until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. If you would like your details removed completely, ask us.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give you a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent to emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
To use any of these rights, message us on Instagram at @drinknicecubes. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
